svg icon producing more code and inline style in my webpage, will it affect performance...

i am using svg icon for my website categories and it is producing more number of codes and style inline in my web page,.... how to reduce them, will it affect my web page loading time because of these huge svg style codes....

any trick to limit or use like a web font icon.....

if i view source code in my web browser and i can see the svg code for nearly 20 page scrolls ...... i feel like it is affecting performance of page load speed...

if so please tell me a way to limit.... or it is better to change the svg in image and use it

commonly SVG using as a replacement of simple icons, so svg should be not s big as you describe. maybe the best way is to replace it by png icon
