Admob only pays for clicks?

I have noticed that views and impressions doesnt give any revenue.
I tested it on my app and I was kinda dissapointed.So theoretically,no matter how views you do get ,it is all about clicking.
My app currently runs only banner,no interstitials.
Dont know one person who would enjoy to click ads,as most of them are like :ADS?! where is Adblock..now.
Clicks from US gives 0.05-0.10$ which is pretty a good rate.Having some friends in US does really help.
Have you been paid for impressions or views by Adsense?

Views for Adsense & clicks as far as i can see.

Google adsense pays for impressions and clicks. So even if you don't get clicks on the ads, you will still make money on the impressions delivered on your website.
