Can you Creat a Joomla/Wordpress Plugin out of a Script?

I have so many PHP scripts that I want to transform them to plugins or modules, without any success till now.
have you ever done or consider that?

plugins use fairly strict rules and need to interact with the existing platform. It would probably be easier to use your script as a model and write the plugin from scratch.
