Hello everybody,

For anybody that isn't familiar with the term ''Google Dance'' since it's rather outdated. It basically refers to the fluctuation of ranking - when the rank goes up and down. I am very curious if it's possible to somehow stop the Google Dance? Or is it just something that we have no real control over?

All of the answers and help is very appreciated! Thank you ;)

So far as I'm aware, it will never be something we have any control over, since Google are continually moving the goalposts and the competition will forever be seeking to knock you out of position. It's a Level 1 chaotic system.

It's pretty easy to stop once your identify why it is happening, but that is the key. You need to identify why your rankings are changing. It's really not something Google is doing to you. That is a big myth.

The most common cause is having a dynamic home page where all your posts end up. As you make new posts, other posts roll further down the page, and eventually completely off of it. This changes your internal link structure every time you make a post, and can cause rankings to never really settle down.

It's a general process that in the beginning of seo every website has to face. There are many reason behind it like removing of back links, better work by your competitors. Only but upper two results were more stable than remaining in SERP.
You need to stop link building on such websites those remove your back-links after some period. Avoid to get place in top commentator widget, because it will change weekly or monthly and you will loss/gain so many back-links instantly.
