Clickbank Popularity and Gravity?

I know this sounds newbie's question, but I always forget the difference between Gravity and Popularity in ClickBank although I read about them in blog posts.

Can anyone tell me what is difference between Popularity and Gravity?

Gravity (weight) = # of Affilaites Promoting.

Popularity (overall appeal - includes gravity) = A ranking of its popularity.

You should consider gravity more than anything else.

Yes. Gravity is the most important of the two. Gravity lets you know how many copy's have been sold recently. It also indicates the competition that you are up against.
