Original content on Instagram, how to boost the reach?

As a guy who is publishing only original content, photos, and text on Instagram, i want to spread my work further, so
what are some effective strategies to boost the visibility and reach of my posts.
Although, i use all the proper hashtags, it doesn't seem to make so much of a progress.
Second questions, more followers, more reach, how is the exact connection between that?

If you are using proper hashtags then it's time to use your account like your personal account. Comment on public posts and like their posts too. Follow each other. And try to post videos. I hope you have some good ideas with the content.
