Can I use Garageband instead of Audacity?

I have been using Audacity for a while to record music, but the overall interface is always confusing and the sound is not so great. Should I switch over to garageband?

That's up to you. I believe Garage band is only available on OS and not PC. I could be wrong.

Yes! Garageband app is for OS. But There are some techniques by which you can use garageband for pc also.

You should definitely move to Garageband.

I have done a lot of editing on Garageband and can surely recommend you to shift to Garageband. It comes with better interface and features than all other available music production apps.

There is one catch though, Garageband is only available for MacOS I think, so if you have a windows machine, I don't believe you will be able to run it.
