Brute-Force Attack detected in service log from IP(s)?

I got this ticket in my hosting control panel

A brute force attack has been detected in one of your service logs.

IP 185.234.217.88 has 645 failed login attempts: phpmyadmin3=645

How can I block all these brute force attacks?
