Why do you feel you need a php framework? Why not just program directly in php?

PHP is not built for banking sector. Choose JAVA or .NET for these type of applications.
PHP is good for small websites or websites that doesn't require secure first approach.

Because they are more robust and secure. Take for example ASP.NET CORE, it has built it the anti forgery attribute to forbid CSRF attacks. Also, if you use entity framework, you don't worry about SQL injection.
