How to increase sales for a Membership site?

I have a membership site which require to update their account to premium or VIP account to get better features on site or advertising without paying any fees. I want to increase more members subscribe to my site per months, it likes increasing sales for the website. Curious to hear your ideas on the matter! Thanks!
