Personally, I have had some great luck with affiliate marketing. Find a good product and a good program and you should be able to make some profits.

Everyone is saying the same thing but you have to be a marketer for those to work - I made my first few hundred bucks online dropshipping, then started buying and selling electronics. This was many many years ago though, may I add.

Another option is to create a blog and sell advertisements.

I think many have already suggested several ways to earn money online. I want to add my opinion.
Start your blog on WordPress, write engaging articles according to your niche, or if you don't want to spend lots of time in writing, then create a page titled "Write for Us" and add content to it. After a few days, you'll see that you will get a couple of mail regarding guest posting. Select the best one and post it on your blog. And when traffic will increase on your website, then go for the Google Adsense program. If Google doesn't approve your website, then there are other websites that offer the same offer as Google does.

In my opinion: Best is to own websites (sell traffic, sell ad spots, etc) - this way, you'll never have to deal with clients, like when you are a freelancer...

In my opinion, you are skilled in any work or subject. You can learn things like marketing, graphic design, web design, and web development. Then you can open an account in the online marketplace and beat for work. E.g.

Freelancer
FlexJobs
Fiverr
Remotive
In these marketplaces, you can buy an account and get a job.
