What's a simple way to get my blog listed in Bing?

I'm not sure if you can ping your blog on Bing but that's kinda of what I want to do.

It's better to get a link to your site from a website that gets crawled frequently, as then it will come naturally and the Bingbot will keep coming back for more.

The easiest way is to add your site to Bing Webmaster Tools, verify ownership, and submit your XML sitemap. After that, publish new content regularly and make sure your internal linking is solid. If another website that Bing already crawls links to your blog, indexing is often much faster. Getting indexed is usually less about "pinging" Bing and more about making your site easy to discover and crawl consistently.

On the ping part specifically, that does exist now and it is called IndexNow. You drop a key file on the site, then any time a URL is published or changed you send it and Bing picks it up from there. Cloudflare has it as a toggle and most WordPress SEO plugins have it built in, so for a blog it is close to zero setup.

It does not guarantee a listing, it only tells them something changed, so the sitemap and the crawlable-link advice above still does the heavy lifting. Bing Webmaster Tools can also import a site straight from Search Console if it is already verified there, which saves doing the verification twice.
