Quick follow-up to my previous post where I shared the launch of my niche site targeting "Instagram nicknames and letters." Wanted to post an update now that it’s officially live and a few days into the wild.
What’s New:
If there’s interest, I’ll keep dropping monthly updates with traffic, earnings (if any), and growth strategies.
Would also love to connect with others building niche content sites — reply or DM if you're down to exchange tips or form a small support/accountability group.

What’s New:
- Content Live: 25 SEO articles published, mostly informational with some light review-style posts.
- Technical Setup: WordPress with Astra + GenerateBlocks. Lightning fast after some late-night Core Web Vitals tweaks.
- Initial Tools Used: ChatGPT for first-draft outlines and SurferSEO for content structuring. Surprisingly effective combo for scaling without sacrificing quality.
- Indexing: About 70% of pages indexed within the first few days thanks to manual Search Console pushes.
- Zero to Low Traffic: As expected, SERPs are still cold. A couple of long-tail keywords are showing impressions but no clicks yet.
- No Backlinks Yet: Still researching cost-effective outreach or HARO strategies. Open to suggestions here!
- Email Opt-in Placeholder: Set up a basic freebie (nickname ideas eBook) but not actively promoting yet. List building comes next.
- Start manual outreach for backlinks (open to recommendations).
- Push another 10 articles this month — leaning toward comparison-style and “best of” posts.
- Begin sharing content on Pinterest and Reddit (has anyone seen ROI on those channels for similar sites?)
- When did you see your first real uptick in organic traffic with a new site?
- What link building strategies gave you actual traction without blowing up your budget?
- Anyone using AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) consistently for content outlines, FAQs, or schema?
