Hosting photos on google-pictures or do you tend to use a self hosted system!?

First of all - i hope your all right and everyting goes well on your site.


Question: how do you host your images - i am currently musing about the setup of a new version - the self hosted option - that runs immich.

i am currently not very sure bout the pros and cons - so perhaps we can discuss it here. We can discuss the options - to switch from Google-photos to a self hosted system - and i would be glad to see a fruitful discussion
