Blog posts. I write 1 blog post every week and publish on the same day and time each week to stay consistent. I make sure the post matches search intent, and it packed with value and is high quality.

You're not going to get real backlinks without creating high-quality content. Generic backlinks don't work. They never really have. You need to make the kind of content that people consume and want to share or link to because it's so good.

I'd focus on writing awesome content for the first 12 months instead of 3-6. It really takes a year of creating the best to get anywhere.

Avoid keyword stuffing, Black Hat techniques, buying links, using AI to create everything, and make sure your website is fast and mobile friendly.

The 12 months figure matches what I have seen. One thing that speeds up the middle stretch though: once you have three or four months of data, open Search Console, filter for queries sitting around position 8 to 20 with real impressions, and rewrite those pages instead of writing new ones.

Google has already decided those pages are relevant to something. Pushing an existing page from 12 to 6 moves traffic faster than a new post starting from zero. New posts still need to keep coming, it is just not where the early wins are.

Most importantly, SEO takes time. Consistent publishing, understanding search intent, and improving existing content based on performance data are usually more sustainable than trying to find quick ranking tricks.
