Hi Art247,

The things which stand out for me as a quick brain storm are:

1. Do not send out excessive personal messages with making contact with people you don't know... as this will lead to spam complaints...
2. Attempting to make too many friends/links with people you dont know... again leading to complaints...
3. Spam postings on other peoples walls, posts/articles etc
4. Do you best to provide value with participating in discussions and not commenting for the sake of doing so (as with forums in general)... In addition this applies to when reaching out to groups to which you wish to join.. Again be helpful and participate positively as otherwise they will complain...

If its not to do with Internet Marketing and to do with reputation, family safety, privacy etc... then check out:

I'm sure there is a lot more.... and look forward to seeing more added to this thread...

Best of Luck!

Social networks are all-pervasive, however aren't generally sheltered.

Business are absolutely getting to be knowledgeable in the points of interest of coordinating informal communication into the working environment - particularly as more youthful advanced locals are beginning work.

Here are a portion of the basic demonstrations that organizations can impart to their representatives to guarantee they are shielded from regular informal organization assaults:

  • Don't click on obscure connections.

  • Set solid passwords.
  • Be careful fake companions.

1. Check out the settings, configuration and privacy sections before signup.
2. Always view and adjust the privacy setting.
3. Keep your personal information private.
4. Don't add anyone in your friend list just because they want to add you.
5. you don't want to give somebody cool access to your personality.

I think it is very simple. Read the site TOS. Follow it. Don't do anything it says you shouldn't. Then you won't get in trouble with them.

Another piece of (old) advice: Don't piss anybody off. Try to remain polite and professional so that friendly debates don't escalate into offline crimes. :-(

Every attempt has to be in moderation. Going over the top can be a bad sign for you when it comes to dealing with things on professional basis.
The thing is to handle it all the way elcidofaguy has explained for you, i guess it will be quite helpful for you to go this way.

Be careful. Do not share your privacy without knowing everything.
