Hey there, I've uploaded a video to youtube since some days ago but today I want to replace it with a newer version of video but I didn't see any buttons for that, where is it?
and it's possible to retain the old view count for my youtube video?

No that's not possible, the best way is to use annotation and mention where people can find the new video. Another option is to use links in the annotation and video description. Also use YouTube Video Enhancements to make changes to the video.

Those are your best 3 options.

I suppose that it's good way to update a new video on youtube that they applied to their rules, must use a new video and add link in old video description is not convenient for users. why they still force users have to do that.

Yeah, spam your old video with links to the new video. Its the only way to try and redirect viewers.

This thing is not possible. Upload a new video and link it to the old one. At least you will have some views
