I run multiple blogs. They're earning me a profit, so I'm addicted to it.
I do one post a week. 1,500 to 3,000 words. High quality, value-packed, problem solving.
This earns me a fair amount of money and traffic and it's easy to turn into a consistent system.
I always batch and try to stay a few posts ahead in case I have a bad week. I maintain a large content calendar/idea list to ensure I always have something to write about.
I always recommend this tactic to bloggers at first, Do it until you think you can add another post a week. But if all you want to do is one, that's totally fine.
You start posting one a day or multiple posts a day, unless you're full-time on your blog and nothing else, it's a great way to burnout and start prioritizing quantity over quality. Blogging isn't social media. Scaling doesn't work like it does on social media.
Social media posts are short-lived.
You can make your blog post evergreen, and it can live forever.
