XML Sitemap Priority

I have a question on Sitemap priority

I have got a Wordpress blog that I installed SEO by yoast plugin for it, it has XML site map tool, my blog posts used to update weekly, should I set priority for blog post as daily, weekly or monthly, which is better for search engine spiders when they visit my sitemap?

Set your sitemap priority 'daily' because we don't know when spider will crawl our website. And your saying it's a blog so it will have regular updates or posts. Your daily posts can be crawled better. Make sure that your site should be technically strong in order to load faster that is one the ranking factor.

For 99% of websites, you do not need a sitemap. Honestly, unless you have a huge site or a site with tricky navigation, don't create one at all.
