There are different niches out there. So say, I decided to make money blog and build a list around my chosen niche.
I am thinking about building new blog niche while still keeping on developing the old blogs.

Any comments I should focus on one niche or enlarge my business?

The key to online success is to focus on one niche, once it starts generating good income then you can decide whether you want to expand that niche or go on a new niche.

Going on a new niche (starting from scratch) is a lot of hard work as compared to growing something that is already generating an income. So spend some time thinking whether is it a good idea to expand or start a new niche.

Another good idea is to flip/sell the site, then once you've sold it for a good price then you can move on to another niche or simply build another similar site like the one you sold because you know it's a profitable niche.

So I would advise you to expand the niche you're into, maybe add a forum, magazine, membership site or anything that you can think of. Hope that helps.

I'm a firm believer in diversification. If you have built 1 site, in 1 niche and it is going strong, I'd say it is a good idea to start a new site in a new niche, IF you can do it properly.

Obviously, any site will take a lot of time and work to get going. If you have the time and ability to handle building up and maintaining multiple sites, then go for it.

If moving your focus to site 2, is going to make site 1 suffer, then keep going with your 1 site and stick to it.

Indeed once you get your formula for success refined and proven then its time to to scale it up... When you cant handle the work load on your own then its time to outsource... That is if your aim is to make a full time income online...

I work in a lot of different niches mostly because I have a lot of different interests. So I recommend it. It works for me.

The thing you have to be mindful of is that you don't want to let yourself get distracted to the point where you don't finish a project. You really should finish one project before you devote any serious time to another one.

I will admit that I have personally struggled to do that. I would often times allow myself to bounce from one project to another without finishing the first project. Doing that makes the work more enjoyable, but it is bad for profits. So try to get something finished that is making money first before you go off and get into too many other things.

Niche probably has a faster way to success than the buckshot approach, though we see some retailers like overstock and amazon take the buckshot approach and do very well. For those who do not know what the buckshot approach it is southern for splatter everything and hope something sticks:)
