What are the best video editing softwares?

I have any raw videos and I want to edit them, would like to know any good videos tool out there?

I find sony vegas to have the easiest learning curve.

I have used FreeStudio. I'm happy with it but I don't think it is the best editing software. Format Factory is another option here. Also AVS and Allok are suggestible.

Adobe after effect is my favorite software until now. You should try it.

Part of it depends on your budget, your equipment, your video format, etc.

The Prosumer market would include Final Cut Pro X for Mac and Premier Pro (BBC uses Premier Pro) - Very powerful but a long learning curve.
Inexpensive Tool - Sony Vegas - Starts at as little as $49
Screencapture and Linear Editing Tool - Screenflow (MAC) and Camtasia (PC)
Imovie and Windows Movie Maker - Free with their respective operating systems.

Tons of them, just reflects your needs, your platform and your budget.
