How many days for a sitemap to be processed by Google bot?

If you submit the sitemap in Google webmaster account it hardly takes a couple of days before it is indexed. I had both of my blog sitemaps indexed within 48 hours of submission without any errors.

It takes only few hours I guess, if you are waiting for days then I you should upload the sitemap again, there is likely something wrong.

It will takes 1-2 days but If your sitemap is on pending list since long time you can submit it again .
