The difference between public blog networks and private blog networks in SEO?

In a post on this forum someone mentioned to public blog networks and private blog networks but I don't understand what they are and the difference between Public blog networks and private blog networks in SEO? Can you guys explain me? waiting your valuable answers!

The difference is a public blog network is usually selling links or they are part of a service that offers links.

A private network is exactly that. You wouldn't know it exists and you could never get a link off of it.

I am just curious a person owns a private network still can sell links? and it is better for SEO than a public blog network?

They could, but I wouldn't sell to more than 2-3 people per network site. In fact, in most cases, I wouldn't sell to more than 1.

A private blog network is usually owned by a person or SEO business for the sole purpose of building backlinks for other, public websites. They usually have a ton of content, these private networks, and are just there to benefit the public sites.

You'd have to own or create a private network for yourself.
