Working from home for a comapny marketing?

A company contacted me about marketing their "product", not sure what it is yet, looks like some kind of a drink.
I'm a college student an a small job from would help.
Sounds like they promise a pay and bonuses for the services,plus they provide free training.
Some of the marketing is done through Facebook.
What do you make of this? Is it even a good idea to niche a product through my main personal page and not a new business oriented one? Give it a try?

You really need to get a lot more information from them. This could be a legitimate job, an affiliate program disguised as a job or a scam.

If you know the name of the company (I sure hope you do) search on it on your favorite search engine and see what pops up.

I tried, the guy found me on facebook, I spoke over the phone and tried to get more information, they want me to come over to their office for more information, they wont provide me with the name, the marketing plan, I asked if its MLM, the answer was kind of dodgy, she said it isnt exactly that, thry do market through social media though. Sounds kind of fishy, doesnt it?

If they are legit, why wouldn't they tell you their name or marketing plan? Sounds like SO many other crappy MLM programs. And you probably have to do all the work and won't get paid till you sell something or recruit others.

Why even ask if it sounds fishy? Think you have half a brain

It's definitely not a job. My bet is that it's MLM or process emails (scam). Personally I would ignore the person and not reply to them at all. Don't waist your time with it.

If you ask if it is an MLM, and they don't give you a straight "no", then it is an MLM.
