What are the best dimension for a thread design?

Hi guys, i want make a thread sales page.
I search on google and ask to some friends but nobody have a "sure" answer.
I was looking for the Best dimension (pixel x pixel), you are here and if you have some tips don't hesitate to write it

It all depends on the forum. But what I usually do, for example when I create a WSO at warrior forum, I take a screenshot, cut the dimensions (obtaining the size) then start from there. For example, for this forum, it would be 817px wide.
