How do you find expiring domains?

I would like to know how do you even find expiring domains? Like domains that you can buy when the owner as not even bothered to renew it.

I thought this could be a good way to make some money and take advantage of people that forget to renew it, in the nicest way possible.

I sometimes check at 2 websites: justdropped.com and expireddomains.net. They have a strong filter can help you list out domains that are going to expired.

Look at Godaddy auctions, or expireddomains.net, I've used this site to find a good few domains in the past.

There are a few good methods:
1. expireddomains.net
2. moonsy.com/expired_domains
3. Domain Hunter-Gatherer (software) Only searching domain auctions is free
4. ExpiredDomainsCrawler (paid software but only costs 10usd once)

if i have my eye on a domain that doesn't have a legit website on it... I will usually look up the expiry date on a whoislookup ... then I will try to snag it when it comes due by using a domain broker.

YOu can also use domain backorder services. However it's rarely to grab these names because the owner will renew it.
