Pros and Cons of Using Flash

Hi

Installing Flash in your website can be a troublesome task, but they say its worth the pain. Can you guys name some of the pros and cons of using flash on a website and what do you think "If it is an integral part of modern website or not"?

Flash is a dying technology so I would avoid it in favor or HTML5 and CSS3. Adobe has already announced the open sourcing of Flex (the sister technology) which is the first step in it's death march. The lack of support in mobile, the problems with SEO and the battery life sucking nature of it makes it a bad choice these days.
