Do I get Blue Badge in Twitter?

I am managing twitter profile page & I want blue badge for this page.
Can you please suggest me some techniques & steps that I have to follow.
How much time do the Twitter required to provide me the this badge?
Finally what other adjustments that I should make on my page?

You basically have to be a person of importance to the public to get a verified blue badge account. It's used to distinguish the real from the fan created accounts.

It's usually reserved for musicians, public figures, sports figures etc.

The only benefit is that it helps people to see what account is really that public figures account and not just a fans account. So if you are not a star or sports figure, it has no benefit to you.

One warning. Accounts with the blue badge are the most hacked.

Remember, Twitter has temporarily disable the verification option. It is quite uncertain when it will back.
