Buying through an affiliate link to get a discount?

There are some marketing products that I would like to buy, which have an affiliate program. Have any of you bought through an affiliate program just to get a discount on a product? or should I buy directly without using affiliate links?

I would check with them first. If you don't plan to promote it, just buy it outright. Some allow it while others don't.

Also think about it. If you sold a product and everyone purchased through an affiliate link just to get a discount, how would you react to them?

I bought directly from websites without using affiliate links, If you want discount, you can ask providers to get a discount if they can.

Check with them first. Some places won't allow you to buy using your own affiliate link. If that's the case, you might be able to give a friend the money and just have them order it for you..
