Lost ranking after outage

Hi everyone

One of my websites recently fell offline for roughly 2 weeks, because i failed to renew the domain...

I reacquired it within the grace period and made sure google still indexes it, but i'm not ranking for the former keywords anymore. All my rankings crashed to zero.
It is just on google though, i'm still getting traffic from other sources.

Is there anything i can do to reestablish my former rankings or must i start anew?

It is too early to say whether you have to begin from square one or not.
Wait and keep on building social signals to your website all this while.
You will regain your rankings in a few weeks.

Google is finicky. I would throw some extra promotions and marketing at the website to help boost traffic and that should let Google know you are serious about it. That said, letting a domain go offline is never a good thing and it may take a long time to recover. I would try to get each individual page indexed as quickly as possible using the Google Webmaster Tools 'get as' search crawler utility, too.

Thanks guys, yeah after nearly a month it's rising again. Fortunately the rankings are recovering far faster then if they had started from scratch.
