How to get back deleted files?

I need to recover files that were deleted a few months ago. This is an office PC and the desktop recycle bin has been emptied. I recommend Easus or Partition Recovery. How does it work, what are my chances?

I would try the undelete function in DOS first. If that doesn't work, my second try would be CHKDSK. And only if neither of these work would I attempt a third party recovery tool.

There are third parties that can recall deleted documents however, you need to pay. Recovery also depends on how long was it deleted.

Please, don't use any free apps, cause I lost almost 5 years of life - I accidentaly delated all photos and wanted to recover them with an app I found on the Internet. It was a fatal mistake! I lost everything.
