There have been a lot of developments to HTML, but the biggest addition award would have to go to the ability to handle audio and video. Gone are the days of having to use a Flash video player, or a clunky Java-based video plug-in to handle your audio and video.

There are lots of new tags added in HTML5 which make it more dynamic than old HTML version which helps to reduce the usage of javascript for small validations and like that CSS3 has also new features and is only compatible with HTML5.

<details> - provides details about an element
<datagrid> - creates a table that is built from a database or other dynamic source
<menu> - an old tag brought back and given new life allowing you to create a menu system on your Web pages
<command> - defines actions that should happen when a dynamic element is activated
