I’m planning to run a small email campaign (around 3,000–4,000 emails per day) for transactional and customer update emails.
Is this volume safe on a private email server if properly warmed up?
What server setup and sending practices should I follow to avoid spam issues?

Yes, 3,000–4,000 emails/day is safe on a private server if it’s warmed up properly.

Key requirements:

Dedicated IP

SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and PTR set correctly

Gradual warm-up (start 200–300/day, increase over 2–3 weeks)

Consistent sending (no spikes)

Best practices:

Separate transactional and bulk emails

Keep bounce rate <2% and complaints near 0

Send only to opted-in users

Monitor blacklists and sender reputation

Follow this, and you should avoid spam issues.
