Just heard from a couple of colleagues that browser-push unsubscribes are spiking hard this week. In-page push is holding steady, but the standard consent-based subs are dropping like flies.

Anyone else seeing this in their stats? Would love to know if this is a localized issue or if the networks are feeling it across the board.

Yes, some networks are seeing similar spikes in browser-push unsubscribes lately. It may be related to browser updates or stricter notification controls

Yes, noticing the same
browser push unsubscribes spiked this week, in-page push steady, seems widespread.

Glad it's not just us, but sorry to hear you're feeling the hit too. The fact that in-page is steady really points toward a change in how the browsers (Chrome/Edge) are managing the push token lifecycle rather than a drop in user interest. Out of curiosity, are you seeing the spike across all geos, or is it hitting your Tier 1 traffic harder?

Yeah, same pattern on our end this week. Standard opt-in push unsubs jumped noticeably while in-page stayed flat, so it's not just you. My guess is it's tied to the Chrome/browser permission prompt changes rolling out lately, a lot of users are getting nudged to manage notifications and just nuking everything in one pass instead of reviewing per site. Worth checking if your unsubscribe timestamps cluster around a browser update push rather than anything on the campaign side.

I'd be curious if anyone has checked the actual permission status changes in Chrome dev tools or analytics, not just unsub numbers. If the browser is silently downgrading or resetting permissions, the timing should match pretty closely. We've seen a bump too, mostly from older subs rather than fresh opt-ins. New subscribers seem normal, which makes me think it's more about existing notification fatigue or browser cleanup than a campaign issue on our side.
