Hello,

I heard my friend said that if I install SSL Certificate for my site then site will run slowly and can not use website cache memory in web system. Is it true ?

Please show me your suggestions ?

Yes,You may notice important response variations once you browse to a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) web site and use totally different site or server certificates

With SSL installed on your hosting account, your website can be accessed by both secure (httpS) and non-secure (http) connections. The secure connection is a bit slower than the non-secure one because the data transfer has to be encrypted on both ends.

That’s why secure connection should be applied primarily to pages that contain sensitive information, such as pages where people enter personal details, billing information, etc. I advise you to setup secure connection only for such pages – the rest of your website will load much faster with the non-secure connection.

It's false.
SSL certificate use for secure but specially which sites used for e-commerce and facebook apps, SSL is very beneficial for them. Its feel very trustworthy to the visitor when they visit the sites.

No. I use it all the time to access my email, private sites, cpanels and other script adminpanels all the time. I don't see any slowness on my server.

Yes. The urls and content can not be cached if you use SSL.

No, installing an SSL certificate won't automatically make a website load slower or stop users from using the cache. Modern servers and caching systems can efficiently handle SSL-encrypted connections without significantly affecting performance. SSL certificates encrypt the data exchanged between the website and visitors, and while there may be a slight increase in server processing time, this effect is likely to be minimal.
