Website Traffic Droped After Applying SSL Certificate?

As Google announced about SSL Certificate can make websites ranking better and it's a good ranking factors and if I change to SSL then my blog can have more opportunities to get better results on search engines thus I decided to try the SSL on one of my blog. Of course, I chose a blog that traffic is no more. About 1200 visitors a day there.

I thought that I have done all things right now. All http URLs using 301 redirect to https URLs but unluckily my site dropped 80% traffic after 6 days after applying SSL Cert. I don't know problems which I got or done wrong cause dropping traffic.

Please share your ideas or suggestions?

Try to look into this a bit more have you checked your Google Webmaster Tools for any crawl errors, since you updated? Is Google Caching your HTTPS version and if so when was the last time it was cached?

I didn't see errors in Google webmaster tool since updated because I used htaccess redirection for all Http urls to HTTPs. it's right solution to change http to https for a domain?

Yes give it a few days to cache the https version.

the total back link is not working right way for https website because all the back link was created on with http so some ranking can down but don't worry. keyword ranking will increase after some days. create back link with https.
