Facebook is one of the most leading social networking sites. The popularity of Facebook has increased drastically. But it could be real danger for you if you do not know “drawbacks” of using Facebook. You can face huge problem. Your Facebook account could be hacked. You could be blackmailed if you forget or do not know how to conceal personal info etc. and many more things things.

Facebook reveals everything on the go. But you have to be more cautious about the privacy settings to know what to hide and what to display in public forums like Facebook. A good review of the privacy settings will help you to keep your information private.

I agree that Facebook has advantages as well as disadvantages. But its advantages are too many as compared to its disadvantages. When Google launched Google + many internet marketers were shifted to the Google + but soon they were back because of its attractive feature.
One main disadvantage of Facebook is that teen age students are wasting their time in chatting.

Of Course, If Facebook has advantages then also it have some disadvantages. You should to update your profile properly and set fully privacy to your account. So, nobody could hack your account and Suppose if anyone hacked then you can easily change password and run facebook account again.

Could you elaborate more on your question? The reason why I ask you this is simply because of the changes that are happening as a whole for the social media market within the micro job niche; such as purchasing Facebook Likes, Shares, Comments, Followers, Views, etc.

Well... Good ol' Facebook....

I tend to REALLY dislike it (even though I'm a user...lol).
Like Google, I find it to be extremely creepy, as it also follows your every move. But what I really dislike about Facebook is the ignorance of people when it comes to being "Online". The way they post pictures of their every move, even the young people who post half naked pictures of themselves, and them not realizing how people can access that for their own use. It's scary. All it takes is someone to "Save Picture As" and that's it. The picture is "Theirs".

I find Facebook is truly another planet. Professionals even go by their "Facebook" activity for just about any police investigation, and psychological assessments. It's messed up. Why does Facebook activity (to the whole entire world) define who you are? People will only see what people want them to see, nothing else.

Gah!!

Are you mentioning on FB, yours is mine?
I thought Facebook might want to solve that but it's too difficult for a huge users on it. For that, users need to protect them self by adding any watermark or copyright on which they share.

I literally just got finished reading this article, and I commented on it as well. Have a look HERE and provide your opinion, if you'd like.

EDIT: Sites can enable the copying part, but the reality is, a person who knows how to take a screenshot is going to do that instead of saving the picture through their mouse. THAT is the crux of the problem. They can disable it, however that's not going to stop the people who can take screenshots. It's impossible to try to stop it, unfortunately...

I'd like to hear experiences from people having used Facebook on a commercial basis with advertising.

It appears the amount of advertising in feeds has significantly increased the last few months and I wonder if the metrics are trending up too?

Perhaps the increased in advertising is driving people away or discouraging FB use?

This would be interesting to know as well, as I find advertising on Facebook extremely expensive and hardly worth the money. What does everyone else think?

We're seeing a lot of 're-marketing' activity, so I would assume it's cost effective as part of a larger campaign. However, that still doesn't take into account product fit vs. cost vs. customer etc metrics.

I had looked into advertising with Facebook, but the price was over the top for me. Now, I'm not one of these people who try to get by on the cheap, but $11/day for an APPROXIMATE range of "Likes" and such, I thought was a bit much. That's just my opinion.

Agree, I tried to advertise on Facebook last month to get Likes for Webmaster Sun fan page but it's not as my expectation when I spent $10 a day but got around 20 Likes for my page. And I changed to my ways to advertising on facbook, I got Likes and real people, not only fan page but for this forum. Last month I have got 89 Likes for my page and now https://www.facebook.com/webmastersun it's got 906 Likes after 3 weeks for my efforts. Not bad, right? :D

Agree, According to me Facebook is a time wasting process. many of users waste their time on this website. this is Good to stay update with Social but, Stay connect with some time and try to do concentrate on other woks. Facebook is also most Dangerous for the student who waste their time on Facebook even the days of Exams.

I just find it's the same as Google, as it reeks of pure ick all the way around. I do use Facebook for my own personal use, but even while I am using it, I see different things that oozes of creepy stalkish activity which makes me want to crawl in a hole...lol
