i have multiple sitemaps , but what is the best way to put multiple sitemaps in robots.txt

Sitemaps only are submitted in google webmaster tools and if you have more sitemaps, let split them into more files and submit each one one time. Don't put sitemap into robots.txt, it's not for nothing. I'm wondering why you want to put sitemaps in robots.txt ?

Sitemaps are not meant for robots.txt
They are a good for caching and indexing your web pages. It is beneficial for search engines to find and crawl your sitemap.

List them in robots.txt one by one as well as submit all to Google and Bing Webmaster tools.
