Facing crawl errors with showing missing category. How to Fix?

Hello All,

I am working on a WordPress site and facing crawl errors at GWT which is showing URLs of my site without category and went on not found 404 pages.

Example is

GWT crawwel error URL

xyz.com/world-market-center-social-media-information-sheet/
Actual URL is

xyz.com/socialmedia/world-market-center-social-media-information-sheet/

So most of my URLs at GWT showing with missing category that cause of crawl error.

How can i fix this please help.

May

I can give you solutions to removing crawl errors in Google webmaster tool by trying following ways:

- Using 301 redirect in htaccess old url to new url.
- Creating a 404 custom error page for your website
- Mark all links as fixed in google webmaster tool
- Resubmit xml sitemap in google webmaster tool.
- Fetch as google tool in GWM to make process fast

If you still get the same errors, let report here and I or someone can help you again.

Thanks for response. What if GWT showing some of pages in crawl error which are not exists even not indexed in Google so how i rid off those from GWT?
