File and image hosting sites

I was wondering: do you think the file-hosting / image-hosting websites (such as Rapidshare, Imageshack, Photobucket) are still in demand?
Is this type of niche still as lucrative as it used to be a few years ago? From what I remember, a lot of folks used to purchase a VPS or even a dedicated server to start their own file/image-hosting business...

They are big sites in the world and still using by more people.
I really thought about making a site like that in the past. But be honest, thought but couldn't do websites like that, it has too much work to care and to accomplish. You will need a team to start with image hosting sites instead of only you.
