Do you prefer delete negative comments on your blog?

I believe you're doing your best to make your blog succesful. Sure, you can get a lot of negative comments and stupid questions from ignorant people who arent really readers of your blog. How do you think do they deserve to be seen or it would be more fair for you to delete them?

I am of the opinion that these comments shouldn't be deleted but addressed by the owner or moderator of said blog. Future readers can then decide for themselves if the person who posted is stupid, ignorant or both

As long as the comment has no profanity and isn't abusive to other people, it's best to keep them IMO. This of course only applies to legitimate commentary on the blog, not spam comments.

Blogs are the target of spammers and thus most of comments are to be expected to be nonsense and unrelated to topic, you should delete these comments if the blog is yours. You can also reduce the amount of spam by adding Captcha and anti spam plugins to your blog.

i think you should not. Because i see on facebooks, there are lot of ppl also do that, even block that account. But those idiot will think that we because of being afraid, being startled so we deleted it. Dont care! you can set the privacy or comment to your blog. silence is golden.

Why delete them, when you can publicly show people you are resolving the issue the customer has? What's that old saying? Any publicity is good publicity, even bad poblicity?

Well, let me to disagree about that. I don't think that clogged forum is a good-looking one. It can be too much trash on your blog that don't work for good.

There isn't any publicity from spammy blog comments! They add no value and can impact website ranking on search engines.

and if you worry about spam. then you can change the Comment system to Facebook comment or Disqus ..^.^

Actually, I think that you should not deleted it but you should mark it as spam because the spam will make those spammer hurt because their work. So, thus make it as spam and you need to deleted the spam system will detect those comment as spam when they start again comment on your blog.
