I need to Compress a video for Website Header without losing quality. Anyone know how?

So I've been designing simple wordpress sites for a while and have purchased a theme with a very attractive video header. Well in order for me to get the file small enough to run smoothly (under 2 MB), it pixelates the video terribly bad!

Is there a way to compress the video small enough without losing quality?
