Hello

I have a question: I can have more DNS on a VPS?

our VPS has both types of unmanaged/managed VPS and directadmin and cPanel.

for example:
I want have DNS and IP like

website1, website2, website3, website4, website5 host on these DNS
mydns56.mydomain.com -> IP1
mydns57.mydomain.com -> IP2

and
website6, website7, website8, website9, website10 host on these DNS
mydns88.mydomain.com -> IP4
mydns89.mydomain.com -> IP5

Is it possible? can I do this on cPanel or Directadmin on our VPS?

Thanks you in advance.

Yes of course its possible you can register name servers in domain panel and then add records for them in cpanel or directadmin.

GoDaddy:

1:Log into your GoDaddy Account Manager.

2:Next to Domains, click the Launch button.

3:Click on the domain for which you'd like to set up private nameservers.

4:In the Settings tab, under Host Names, click Manage.

5:In the pop-up, click Add Hostname.

6:For Hostname, input ns1.

7:For IP Address, enter the first private nameserver IP address provided in the welcome email.

8:Click Add.

Repeat steps 5-8 for the second private nameserver.

Maybe this is advantage technique on configuring web hosting, it's difficult for me to understand your pic.

Simplicity, I need to create ns1, ns2 my vps as rwsorensen mentioned in his post?

after that I go to Godaddy or name.com to add ns1, ns2 normally?

Why I need to add IP as your picture you showed above?

without ips where you point your nameservers? if you are having problems pm me for help.
In directadmin or cpanel as The OP wrote
mydns56.mydomain.com -> IP1
mydns57.mydomain.com -> IP2
have this done in control panel on vps?

I'm studying on how to control a umanaged vps, bought 1 vps for testing :D
