Short answer NO!!!! FB likes does not play any role for SEO and ranking on the SERPs...

Further getting fake likes will destroy your FB page as you will inhibit your ability to reach out organically to your audience... FB restricts your post reach at approx. 10-15%...

Facebook likes and SEO have no connection with each other. Facebook organic likes can drive your website visit but can not increase your rankings in SERP.

Yes I agree with you. Facebook likes gives more traffic. But if your website has the potential to woo customers from your facebook page to website naturally then gradually the ranking will also get increased.

If the Facebook likes are earned through quality posting without using any tool or software then they are worth enough but they don't have any impact on organic ranking. Higher ranking only achieved by quality content, great user experience, proper on page optimization and getting quality back links from relevant niche.
