Hi!
Since you clicked this thread I assume you are either a teambuilder or a leader for some sort of business, team or individual. Perhaps you´re an affiliate and are building a team? Who knows.

Anyways, the reason for posting this thread is because I´ve experienced both horrible leaders and teambuilders. I am not going to mention any name in order to not offend anyone. A very high percentage of the people who either tries to build a team or be a leader for someone are making a huge mistake. They do not care for their members/followers well-being. They tend to focus on building their team or get more followers. They do not treat or make the personal bond with their prospects. Once you´ve joined you are just a fish in the sea. You may get some email followups that are automated, instead of forming a bond with your mentor/leader or teambuilder. This is a shame.
I guess people have experienced this too?
If so I am sure that you also find this to be a shame.

My personal opinion is that it doesn´t matter if you´re a teambuilder, leader, big ass millionaire, or a newbie. You need to invest in other people. Once you do this, people will see that you are valuable and follow you because of respect. You should hustle to form a bond with all of your people.
Invest in other people before you think about yourself!

What is your opinion on this topic?

Best regards,
Harald Roine

Couldn't agree more. The problem with a lot of MLM companies is that they frown on people actually doing some research before they decide who to sign up under, yet that is often the key as to whether you succeeed or not.

Saying that, I personally wouldn't get involved in any business that required team building, it's far too frustrating when you invest time and energy in people and they just don't do what you are teaching them. You can as they say take a horse to water but you can't make it drink!

The often quoted figure of 95% of new business failing within 5 years says more about the people than the business. The majority may say they want to improve their lives but simply they won't take the action required.
