One of the first things you should consider when selecting a new domain name, It is your website will work oriented aspect of branding or positioning appearance in search engines.
For me, I will choose Keyword-Rich Domain Names to start a new website because it will help me get ROI faster while selecting a brand name domain needs more time and efforts on it.
what do you think about that? what will you choose between keyword-rich domain names and your brand name??

Having pertinent keywords in your domain name is a plus. Others prefer it to simply be their company name.

Remember, shorter is better. Stay away from hyphens and dashes if possible. .com is the most popular TLD, but .net, .org, .biz are also good. I don't believe there is much value in the new TLD's (.move, .business, .personal, .blog, etc)

When Google's Matt Cutts warned against using keyword domains as far back as 2011, it's debateable whether there is any advantage or not.

They have long been suggesting that they regard using keywords in domain names as a form of spamming the search engines, so you need to take care.

The important think is that it's easily remembered.

We are read many articles are clearly stated that keyword based domains have no high priority in search engine ranking. But it is a open secret that a key word based domain with good back-links and better online presence is ranking in best positions.

Country based, field related domains like .us, .com.au, .name, .tv are also getting high priority in search engine results. But the ultimate way is to keep our content unique and give pure information to users.

Google's EMD algo targets thin, spammy sites.. So as long as you dont fall into that category you can use keywords within your domain name which can help for ranking for those specific terms...

keyword rich domain can sometimes cause problem and may cause penalty. This is called "EMD update" i.e exact match domain update. For better info, please visit Matt Cutt video youtube(dot)com/watch?v=5VjEWf6nr2w

It is true that keyword oriented domain, sometimes helpful for ranking and give some searches, specially for LOCAL SEO
