What is the best competition on a forum you have seen or made? Could be a posting competition or something like that. What was the best reward you have seen or won?

We used to do forum battles where we put members on teams and see which team posted the most a week. It gave them points and at the end of the year we figured out who won

On this one community I used to run, we usually hosted some kind of creative competition a couple of times each year. Videos, singing, painting, dancing - and so on. Nothing promotional, just talent. Prices varied from laptops, iPad's and so on.
