ElixantTechnology and RDO Servers?

Looking into VPS and Dedicated Servers area on this forum and found 2 hosting providers (forum Mods), does anyone use their hosting? does it have any good features and what about their hosting speed? Please share your experience.

I've had VPS with RDO for a while now. No downtime so far and great support

I have had a few websites hosted with Elixant and I must say flat out his service is the best there is.

Any issues I have faced took less than 1 hour to fix, sometimes even 10 minutes. They were down for a few hours back in May and I was issued a credit for the downtime. Websites loaded very quickly as well.

This is not a bias opinion but indeed an opinion from a very satisfied customer.

Oh I have not known Inquestor hosted websites with Elixant, It's great when hearing you are hosting websites for our Super Mod.

Although I have not got opportunities to host websites with ElixantTechnology and RDO Servers but asked them for supporting and have some problems solved. These guys really have good support for clients and would recommend to everyone.

I recommend RDO as I do not know the other. Have tried them, and they give what they promise. However, use always your best judgement when trying out VPS providers.

How to check quality of both hosting providers?

You must do your homework if you want to find out about hosting companies. Word of mouth from current clients is the best method and both have received good reviews in this thread. You can also google away looking up reviews on a hosting company. But again don't always believe what you read on the internet. A bad review can be posted for reasons we as readers do not know but if you read enough reviews/comments you can get a good idea. Then try them out and see how they work for you.

VPS or Dedicated depends on your needs. Why pay for more then you actually need...

Sadly, most of the web hosting reviews website are fu of fake reviews and affiliate links. Many of them will recommend GoDaddy, HostGator, Arvixe, 1&1, and other hosts that are actually rather low quality hosts.

For more honest reviews, check webhostinggeeks .com and reviewhell .com

Yes "most" review sites are fake and promote the company that is actually running it or the one the site owner gets the most kick back from. But if you look around you can find the info you need. It is just up to you the person looking for hosting and how much work you want to put into the research.

I didn't use this server, I tried servers from Amazon and another company from Australia ( I'll leave the link below). my company and product are designed for the Australian market, including New Zealand. from my experience, I can say that Amazon not rarely reduce speed and 2 times a year the server was down. I use colocation in Sydney, the speed is very good, the ping is below 10 in Australia. once only the speed was lowered, but this is more than a year and a half of use, and the prices for the Australian market are very acceptable.https://intergrid.com.au/colocation.p
