Hey all.

I set up some Facebook groups about 6 months ago which now has over 8,000 members on each one. I can either sell the group or sell temporary links? I have been told that it's against Facebook's TOS??

I should keep them to promote my website services or selling them? Is the group for your business or just a general group? any thoughts?

Why would you even think about selling them off in any manner?

If they are "solid" leads, meaning they joined the group themselves
and were not simply purchased, why wouldn't you find appropriate
affiliate offers and promote the hell out of some kick ass offers?

If proper research and preparation is done, the commissions earned
from just one or two promotions could surely beat that of what you
could get for selling them off.

Just my 2¢

If they are organic members (not purchased) then I suggest don't sell your groups. It's really difficult to build an online community. In addition to what others have mentioned, you can use fb groups to:
1. Test out new ideas for products & services
2. Sell your own products & educational content
3. Do affiliate marketing
4. Launch industry events on your groups, for others (for a price)

Instead of seeing it as a group, think of your FB group as a high-traffic platform that you can lease to others to sell their product, content and do other marketing activities.
