How many tags for a Youtube video?

I have someone who is going to make a couple of Youtube videos for my marketing efforts and I was looking around in Google and it seems like the amount of tags that you use is important to the success of the video. The thing is that I can't find any good information on how many tags is best.

My question is how many tags should I use for a Youtube video?

Generally I put 8-10 tags for my videos.
The first tag is my channel, 2 tags for main keywords and the rest are relevant keywords.
You should look for videos with high view that is related to your niche and learn what their tags is.

Choose some good tags relate to your videos or your niches. Quality of tags are more important than quantity thus I would recommend using 5 to 10 best tags on each your video.
